I am traveling from the U.S to Ireland and England this June. What is the weather there like in June? The same as here? Also what are the foods like?

Hi Trish..

I'm Irish so I'll tell u straight..Irish weather, June included, aint fantastic!!
We have a temperate or moderate climate meaning so-so summers and mild winters...June..well the evenings will be bright until nearly 11pm, it'll be warm..hopefully..but not 'hot'.
A shower of rain is never far away but they clear quickly..nothing extreme.

As for food..anything u like..its all here!
From worldwide fastfood outlets..McDonalds,BurgerKing..to tradional Irish reataurants, Chinese ,Vietnamese,Thai restaurants, French,Italian,Pizza,pasta houses, cafes,every type of restaurant imaginable..the food will be the same as home, u can drink the tap-water!
Email me if u want specific info on places you're visiting,or if you want to know about different towns and cities
Paul

Bring your umbrella because it's gonna rain a lot. I was there last August and I only saw the sun for @ 3 hours in 5 days. But it's also good because everything is so lush and green. And you'll also want to bring some food with you. I have never had worse food than when I was in Ireland and England. I spent days eating only bread and candy bars. And make sure not to eat anything beef, It tastes horrible. Other than that Ireland is awesome. The people are great and the scenery is wonderful.

Ireland is never easy to predict in Ireland. Sometimes it is okish in June and last year it was absoluity...ROASTING!! and what was i doing.....The fecking JUNIOR CERT!! The one time it was warm here and i was stuck doing state exams! Depressing i dunno how i studied it was so hot but i managed it.....barely!

The food here is the same normal food... there are fries in the morning (eggs, bacon, pudding etc.) potatoes and meat and veg and stuff for dinner and ice cream/apple tart etc. for dessert.

A few translations

America = Ireland
chips = crisps
fries = chips
potatoes=spuds (only said really by country people)

it could rain at any time of the twelve months in eire so definite convey or purchase a raincoat once you get right here. it could help to attend till you arrive and see what the forecast is like, if the climate is nice then you definitely won't could worry. No element dropping funds if the forecast is sturdy. The summer season 2 years in the past (2009) it rained for the great of July and August daily. I shop bees and it replaced into one in each and every of those undesirable summer season climate clever I had no honey, the bees ate each and every final drop that they had saved for the wintry climate by using fact they could not get out to forage. arms crossed the sunlight shines daily for you.

Ireland is lovley all year round, but don't be fooled, it is summer time but the water is still FREEZING as it would be during the winter. & there are bars on like every corner.
