Another cockatiel, or a baby budgie (parakeet) to keep it company. A budgie can live in the same cage with a cockatiel if it starts when it is very young, or if it is not an aggressive budgie and if the cockatiel is not aggressive. They can eat the same food.
When one of my cockatiels died, I bought a budgie to keep his mate company because I didn't want to get another cockatiel when she was already elderly. Budgies don't live as long. When the second cockatiel died, my daughter bought another cockatiel to keep the budgie company! So I hope my daughter is responsible enough to take care of the cockatiel when I die!

In my journey entities can impact animals a lot extra fairly then human beings, yet infrequently have a might desire to. From my journey the entities of the former residing come of as brainless maximum the time, yet i'll confess there's a lot of evidence to sugest they do no longer seem to be so brainless. I incredibly have under no circumstances seen a entity of the former residing which replaced into something yet low power kind additionally, in line with hazard through fact the actual essence of the guy is going to a various place and in simple terms the shadow or reminiscence of them keeps to be...yet thats a tuff subject count to flow over. in the journey that your chum died and remained in spite of in the event that they have been a low power entity, they wouldnt might desire to a lot power to manipuliate a chicken...in spite of the reality that ive enver heard of a low class entity having the ability to take administration of the residing completely in spite of the hosts counsel, yet animals are extremly susceptible vs human beings, so its a threat the chicken is appropriate on your chum. human beings will generally no longer observe issues that have existed each and on a daily basis interior of their lives, then whilst a suden substitute occurs and their techniques isn't any longer happy with how issues are and seeks solutions or seek's for fact's to establish their psychological conflicts, they generally observe issues they under no circumstances found out existed, yet whilst the chicken is accessible in front of u...properly thats hard to no longer observe.

You could get another cockatiel, but unless you want to play to have them sexed you run the risk of having babys. I have a sun conure and a cockatiel, and they get along wonderfully. They preen eachother and play with eachother all the time.
