No. I dont think it is. Some cultures say daddy instead of dad, especially in the south. Or if a lady feels very close to her father it is more affectionate to say daddy then dad. Daddy is just less formal than dad or father.

No, it is not childish, silly and never annoying to call your father, DADDY. I only wish I could have had my dad a little longer , U bet I would call him DADDY. My dad died when I was 12 years old of cancer. Not a day goes by that I dont still miss him and say DADDY I love you.

No its only immature if they act like a child. By the way, big black men from the South tend to call their dads "daddy".

I do sometimes...but not all the time...but not...I think its a thing of love..not immaturity. I'll always be daddy's little girl and i wouldnt change that for the world

Depending on the situation, I usually do call my father "Daddy", but I have on occasion called him 'Dad'. But I do only call my mother "Mom". I grew up calling my parents by these names, and I don't see any point in changing that now, not for anyone.

Girl if that is what you want to call your daddy then call him that.. it doesn't matter.. I am 23 and I still call my daddy daddy.. haha.. but, seriously how many girls say dad?

i don't think it's immature. i mean i still call my father "daddy." no matter how old i get, my father is ALWAYS my daddy. I think the majority of women will agree with me.

I am 27 and still call my father "daddy". That is what is natural in our family. I am the baby in the family.

I think it is just plain annoying when anyone over the age of 10 still calls their parents mommy and daddy
