in the summer do students have 2 remove everything out of their dorm room? orrr?/? j/w never thought about it

You have to remove all your personal belongings from the dorm room or risk having them thrown out while you are away for the summer. A lot of the time you are liable to be assigned a different dorm and different roommate each year, unless you request otherwise.

It depends what kind of university housing system you are under. To my knowledge, they have you move out completely by the end of the academic year. If you renew your housing contract and intend to do the summer term, then they will probably relocate you to another dorm that is in use for the summer.

Yes you do have to vacate your room. The colleges usually allow you to store some things there (basement storage rooms) for the summer. You pack it.

If you are not attending during the summer, then yes, you have to move out.

Far as I know, they move everything out..... because the halls are used for summer camps and conferences.
