The UK is a pretty painless experience. You are almost at the end of the road for this part of the process to gain a visa. Has an interview been scheduled yet. If not, the wait time will be relatively short, unlike some Embassies/Consulates that can take serveral months. Don't stress it.

Once he has visa in hand, he has 6 months to enter the US. You then need to get married within the 90 days and then apply for Adjustment of Status.

I utilized for my fiance to return to the united states of a. he presently is residing interior the united kingdom. i can inform you from my adventure: I filed the I-129f in early Feb & recieved approval on 3/sixteen/06. He executed his visa utility in late might (took a while to get each and all of the needed place of work work so as i.e. police certificates, translation of delivery cert, military records, etc). So anyhow he sent the executed visa utility to the London embassy and he had his appointment for his interview on 7/3/06. the folk on the embassy have been very polite and friendly (we've been slightly stressful with regard to the interview technique reason his english isn't that solid). I flew to uk to be there with him and that they asked him how we met and congratulated him and it became over. He recieved the visa on 7/10. the full technique became very very tender and speedy! so a techniques as vacationing him interior the states i think of you will could get a customer visa for that. verify the embassy's internet internet site for suggestions or USCIS internet site. superb of luck to you!
