My girlfriend has never really had a boyfriend before me. In her last year of college, she was obsessed with a guy named Frank. Frank led her on and then turned her down on the last day of school. This guy is always on her mind as a mental obsession. All of her friends were in on trying to hook the two people up, but it still failed.

Today, I messaged the guy on instant messenger. I pretended I was a SPAM bot and apparently he thought I was someone else. He then messaged me from a different screen name and we talked (with me, not knowing who he thinks I am, guessing wildly at what the other guy thinks I would be answering). Long story short, it turns out that her obsession is a homosexual. He is really nerdy and has been "being mean" to girls as a sort of revenge of the nerds in person.

Question is, should I tell her all of this?

No. If you tell her what you did, she will just realize that you are jealous of this guy. Let her find out on her own. Even if she never finds out, she will eventually get over him. The best way to get her to really like/love you is to be nice to her and quit being all weird and stalking her crushes.

I think you should. If I had liked a guy that much and then been rejected by him without a solid reason I would be crushed. Many things would be running through my mind; Was it because i'm not pretty enough? Smart enough? Funny enough? Etc.

She may even think you'll find the same fault with her eventually. Besides, if you don't tell her it's almost like you're lying and if she ever found out you knew and didn't tell her she would most likely be very upset with you for withholding this information.

The worst that will come of this is that she'll be upset because you talked to him, but not so upset that it will hurt your relationship. Most likely it will help her get over him and feel more secure with herself.

So once again, my answer is yes, tell her.

No, sounds such as you're jealous of him. she will enjoy him for in spite of reason she desires to. maximum cases women have yet another guy there techniques is incredibly thinking approximately. secret overwhelm, and that's ok. It helps her no longer determine some thing under appropriate for her. in simple terms as many adult men have women they enjoy. She chooses to make this widely used to you through fact she trusts you. and additionally you're loosing her believe by potential of vengefully and sneakily attempting to unmask his faults. in case you tell her, the two she won't have faith you or she would be indignant with you for performing like an azz.

Naw- no way to prove it. She'll just think you're jealous. He's really no threat since he's not interested so let it go. You can always just beat him to a pulp for being a prick to her..... Women say they hate that, but it's a big LIE.

I wouldn't unless you want her to no longer trust you and break up with you. She will question your motives, extreme jealousy is not sexy. If you tell her it migh tjust lead her back to thinking about him all the time again. Just leave well enough alone.

I would.
She's probably thinking somethings wrong with her, and it will help ease her confidance if she knows that her crush turned her down because of sexual orientation

Plus you can tell her, that One of my ex boyfriends is now gay.

ZWoman seem to form crushes on gay men, It sucks.

I wouldn't tell how you found out but yes maybe it would help her to get over it. Just say you overheard some people talking and you heard he was gay.

Why would you? Do you want to break up with her? What a mean stupid thing to do! You really need to grow up before you start another relationship. Your idea of fun is sick.
