you know that small box that some people have to search things. I wanna delete the history

Click on the History icon in your icon tray up top, click clean history and it will all be wiped out...

On my search box at the very top of the list it says
DELETE SEARCHES
There is also the tool bar click on it and go to options delete history should be there!
I hope you have one of those! Or else it is not coming off! (that i know of)
It may be at the bottom of the listings that show up just look around the listings.
That is all I can say to you. I hope you find a way to fix it if not this way.

Go to the tools tab at the top of your home page,click on it.go to internet options tab, click on it go down to where it says "browsing history" and hit clear history tab. it should give you an option to set this to not keep browser historyever after you log off every time.

is it on the yahoo toolbar? if it is, there's a little pencil thing beside it... click on it and then click "clear search history". there should be a button like that for any toolbar though, you just have to look for it..

Go to tool bar, click on inter net options.Click on delate files ,then history.
Be sure to also clear / deleate your search bars afterwards.
