running for elections in the philippines?

Well, he already said so. He is running for congressman or member of the House of Representatives. However, he has yet to file his certificate of candidacy and the deadline for congressional candidates is on March 29 so he still has a month to change his mind. Hope he does.

well I'm a Filipino myself and I heard rumors that he is going to run in the elections. But it is not 100 percent clear that he is going to run, there is a big possibility that he's gonna and there is also a big possibility that he is not going to pursue it.

well we don't want him in the politics cause he knows nothing about it. Filipinos especially those who are popular like the artist run for elections and they are just depending on their fame.
Thats why here in the Philippines we have a lousy government.

If he is he would probably win since he is so popular among his people. I don't know how great that would be for his boxing career. He has been known to get distracted pretty easily.

not sure but know for a fact hes a cult hero there, mobbed everywhere he goes and more loved than food and water to the locals...he could win on popularity alone...
