I want to install Microsft Office 2007 on my PC. Question is should I first uninstall the previous edition (Office 2003) before proceeding? Many thanks...

To ensure the system integrity, it is recommended not to upgrade your current copy of Office 2003.

I give this suggestion because some older version of Office components could be left behind and not to be removed from your PC's harddrive while performing upgrade to Office 2007. And even some of them remain active and it can cause unexpected software behaviours or user experiences.

It's known that a new installation of a software product is much better that upgrading options, and PC user will enjoy better performance and benefits upon this.

Hopefully this opinion will help you.

Well I had 2003, and it was pretty good. But now I have 2007, which the appearance looks sweet and I love it, but there is a new one is coming out this year, so you could possibly wait...But id totally choose 2007, over 2003..
