21, tried it as like a kid I had a sip of beer, then at around 16 I had a glass of champagne for New Years(at my Father's parents and my Father's Father was full blooded Italian heritage so you can see how that makes sense) but didn't really drink until I was 21.

I was 15 like most my friends. But it was a lot of hard liquor and now i cant touch the stuff.....BUT I LOVE MY BEER!!!.....Now that i think of it the first time i had alcohol was with my dad when i was about 8 in hopes he would deter me from ever drinking.....how ironic

I was 20 when I drank for the first time, other than the occassional sip of a wine cooler or beer you got to taste as a kid.

Early grade school. My son is the same. He is allowed to try a sip of wine with dinner if he wants. He is actually quite a wine snob. swirling, looking at the legges, testing the bouquet, sipping.
