You said you don't want to be mean to the outta league guy, but not being honest with him about your feelings is alot more mean than breaking things off now instead of waitng until he's really atatched to you. You also said that another guy
likes you and that you like him, so why pass up something that could end up being a good thing? Be upfront with the guy and go from there.

Why go out with him if he aint in your league? Maybe you just love yourself too much. Just tell him you dont want to be with him anymore. Say you dont have enough in common. Then wait a little while before going out with the other guy so you dont appear too heartless.

Well all I can really say is go for whoever makes you happy. If you stay with the one who isn't in your league, you'll never truly be happy. Just let him know that it really isn't working out for you and you think you all should start see other people. Just make sure you know what you are doing and that you are comfortable with the decision you are about to make!!

The term "in your league" is mean in itself. That shouldn't matter.

What matters is how you feel about the person. Do you have fun, trust, respect...? Do you love him? If so, it doens't matter if he is in your "league". Would you rather be with someone who treats you like crap but is in your league?

Follow your heart and your head on this one and don't let what other people say influence your decision. If you do, you may regret it later.

You gotta take care of number 1 and thats you. If you have doubts now then its just not meant to be but also dont go for the other guy just because you think he is hot. You will be the one hurt in the end.

Conceited........j/k. Just tell him that he is not your type. That's a good way to not show interest in someone. Just don't make a decision you'll regret later. Sometimes the person you think is not "in your league" is actually above it.

There is no "league". People are people. Date whomever you want to date (that wants to date you), and pursue anyone you want to pursue...

However be honest and true in your dealings with others. If your boyfriend isn't your "type" then why is he your boyfriend to begin with? Very unkewl to date someone just to be dating, especially if they aren't aware they are just being used until you can find someone better. Tsk tsk...

Is he not in your league because he doesn't say "ain't"? Your pedestal seems to be a little tall here. Honesty is the best policy and there are ways to be frank, yet not rude.

I think that no matter what, you will leave him at some point.
Breaking up is hard at times so try something different.Try to hook him up with a girl you feel he may like. That way you won't leave him empty.

By staying with the bf who is not in your "league" you are hurting him...Be good to him and tell him that you are interested in someone else. Then he can find someone better who is in his league.
