Absolutely not! You don't say whether it is physical pain, or depression. I wanted so much to put my Great Grandmother out of her pain. She had a stroke, and was in the hospital. I pictured putting a pillow over her head, to end her misery. She was 88yrs old. But I did not. I whispered in her ear that she should go home to God, gave her a hug and kiss, and went home. She died that night. It is the right time to die, when God says so. Not when we decide honey!

I have read your3 questions (one was removed) and replies to them. I know who you are talking about; she is a cutter. Cutters are self injurers whose reasons for doing so are not usually because they want to die. The reasons are little understood but may include:
1. For attention
2. For emotional release (they can't handle their emotions and the sight of their own blood gives them relief.)
3. Because they have been rejected because they are not beautiful and so want to harmthemselves like the rejecters do. Or they want to reduce their attractiveness by disfiguring themselves.
4. Because they want to punish themselves like they have been punished.
5. Because it is the only way they know to get control of their own body which is being controlled in an abusive relationship.

These reasons were given by a recovered self injurer who is also a therapist.

I would suggest you educate your self about self injury in teens by typing "teenage cutting" or "teenage self injury" into Yahoo! search and going to some of the links that come up before you advocate helping someone kill themselves. Self injurers are hurting but that is not a reason they should die but a reason they should be helped get rid of the pain. They sometimes injure themselves as a cry for help!

Never give in to hating as it only hurts people, mainly the hater (who is really injuring him/herself in a subtle way).

I suggest you apologize to this girl and forgive her whatever she has done to you if anything. Please.
