example 1:
i have 2 SVC(single voice coil) 4 ohm subwoofers

if i am to wire these subwoofers in series
will i get an 8 ohm draw from the amplifier??????

example 2:
i have 2 SVC 2 ohm subwoofers
if i am to wire these subwoofers in series
will i get a 4 ohm draw from the amplifier??????

if i am incorrect in any way please explain...

It's no so much of a draw as it is a load, but yes you are correct.

Series:

adds the ohms.

Parallel:
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/PARALLEL.jpg uses the formula

Z = 1 / (sub1 + 1/sub2)

Where Z is the total impedance (ohms) and sub# is each sub(or each coil in a multi-coiled sub).

You can mix these two methods to get different loads.

Series-parallel:

If all subs are 4 ohm, the resulting load is 4 ohm. Each sub would be 1/4 the power of the amp @ 4 ohms.

If you wire a pair of 4ohm speakers in a series, you will get an 8ohm load. In parallel it will be 2ohm at the amp.

For further information, see the source. Even if you don't like Crutchfield, they have detailed diagrams that should help, where, in the link, Option #1 is parallel and option #2 is series.

yes...series will double the ohm draw
