I mean I know its harmless and nothing will come of it because
he is WAY TOO young for me, but I seriously find myself blushing
whenever I see him and I can't seem to stop smiling. Then when
he leaves.......I feel a little sad. Also, he is quite the little flirt.
I think he knows........I really do.

I, too, blush and act stupid when I am around a few (MUCH) younger, good-looking males. I am in my 40s. There are a couple of guys I work with that have that effect on me. I think it's perfectly normal, cute, and sweet. Plus, if he's flirting back at you then consider yourself supremely flattered.

Peace.

Your eye and fancy can be caught by anyone, anywhere. That's why it's a crush, it doesn't have to be reasonable.

You, however, sound like you're being pretty reasonable in realizing that the age difference is a very large obstacle. However, if you're blushing and sad, I don't think you've entirely resolved yourself to it yet.

Just make up your mind that either he's an inaccessible window-shopping treat (and enjoy him as such, there's nothing wrong with a flirty friendship), or make up your mind to try anyway.

You can have a crush if you want, he's legal. Enjoy it. Especially that such a young man would find you attractive enough to flirt back. Eat it up girl!!!!

My ex-gf had a crush on my ex-bf, prior to all of us dating, so yes. He was 29, she was 40.

It's not uncommon at all...and it's also not that uncommon for a woman that age (or older) to act on it.

To each, their own.
