4% for most American beers
5% for most Canadian and European beers
8-12% for Fax and certain 40s...like Old English

It depends. Most mass produced beer in the US is 5%, light beers have less. Craft or microbrewery produced beers typically range from 5% to 12% (often referred to as high gravity beers), although some have been reported at up to 22%. These would typically be much more full flavored beers or barley wines and will typically have a more calories as well. Some states limit alcohol content to 6% or less, so it depends on where you live as well.

Some beers are almost alcohol free..Other beers range in alcohol content from 0% to 12%. Different countries label their beers differently depending on the alcohol content. Consider: near beer, beer and ale. Some countries require a label with the alcohol content noted as well as the 'body'. Inquire of the brewery.

in all 50 states the alchol content in beer is between 5 & 6% with the exception of two states oklahoma & utah their beer is 3.2%

I think it's 4.5 to 5%...unless it's an American beer then i think it has the same alcohol content as water... :)
