Like, how are you able to tell if he "likes you" or he is just acting "goofy" around you. There's mix signals as to if the guy likes you or not by his actions. Just because he asks you a simple question, it may just mean he doesn't know. Or is it if he takes the time to ask he likes you. confusing....

Good question and every guy is different....You're right in a sense that he may ask simply because he doesn't know but watch how he reacts either before or after. If he continually looks at you and purposely sits next to you and asks you a question, he could seriously be confused as well as likes you. See how he acts with other girls...Does he look at them too all the time like he does you? Pay attention to what he does and if it's different around you he probably likes you. If he just asks you and then walks away never looking at you again until your called upon by the teacher, it's proable he isn't into you as much as you think.

They act funny because they are boys not men. They arent experienced enough yet to control the feelings and urges inside of them. It takes time to master all that and until they are about in their 20s their main goal is to have sex, not a relationship. So they spend most of their time figuring out how to manipulate the next girl into giving in to them. As they mature they begin to focus more on the woman as a person and not just an outlet for their sexual frustrations but that takes years.
That is why they act goofy.

we sometimes act funny because girls go off first introduction so if a person is walking over and trips , bam, lost cause lol, so we act goofy or dumb bcuz we like u, if a guy is acting real cool,smooth, relaxed(playa type) its bcuz he has done this many times and knows exactly how he's gonna have u, love drunk and in the bed b4 dinner, so take the goofy kinda awkward guys, those are the ones who in 20 years wont have u with 12 kids and no money ^^

Its a matter of maturity and generally the personality of the guy. I've known guys in their early twenties to have the gall to just come out and say to a girl "listen. I like you. You're gorgeous, you're funny, I'd like to take you out" but then there are guys who just laugh like dumba$$es and say stupid pickup lines thinking they're hilarious. If the guy can't be upfront with you in the beginning, do you really want to spend the rest of the relationship trying to pry information about how he feels out of him? Or, if you're that curious, just come out and ask him "Do you have an interest in me or is it just a simple question?"

I think shy girls won't show it. Sometimes you'll think they hate your guts or don't even notice you. But they could have a huge crush on you. Basically making impossible for them to ever get a guy to confidently approach them.

Because they're too shy to express any other emotion, like for example fondness, etc. trust me i know, i've done the same.
But sooner or later they catch on.And i tell the girl i like her.

if you really like somebody and you think maybe she could be your everything
then so much is at stake, of course you get nervous
if you don't care either way then no reason to be nervous
