they have just changed my flight times and now they dont match up to my connecting flight. how can i solve this and will it cost extra money to change these times. ?

If you booked the entire journey on the BA website they will reschedule your connecting flight - just call the reservation number on the site and they'll do the rest. If you book the flights independent of each other - well, you can try negotiating with the connecting airline and explain what happened - they may let you off any change penalty to rebook your flight.
