We were planning on studying, then we are maybe going to see a movie.

We are good friends, and I'm a gal and he's a guy. If good friends just go see a movie together, would a guy consider this a date, or just a movie.

(PS. He has a lot of friends that are girls.)

My closest friend is a gal. When going to a movie or something its really no big. We both know where our relationship stands. Maybe you 2 need to clarify what the bounds are. If he has a lot of females friends he most likely doesn't think its a date. Unless one of you went out of your way to set it up.

not to hurt your feelings, but from the way you say it...its a friendly movie ONLY. i really dont think he is looking at this like a date at all. i have a lot of friends that are women, and when we hang out, i dont consider it to be a date. whether it would be dinner, movie, hanging out etc. so no i dont think at all that this is a date. if you are looking for it to be a date, well i would wait a while before confirming your feelings for him. just be careful and not read too much into this.

it sounds like a date, but be careful. guys that have a lot of friends-who-are-girls may just want the kissing or making out without the relationship part of it. if it turns out to be a date, DO NOT let him do anything but hold your hand.

Probably if it was dinner and a movie a date, but since your studying first just a movie.

Assuming he's not planning anything REALLY INTENSEafter the movie is over....(aside from the possibility of buying you an ice cream sundae)....enjoy the movie and your time together!

anytime you go out with somebody, its a date

you can call it a meeting, get-together, whatever...so long as its not a huge 10-person thing, yes its a date

What does it matter if you label it as a date? A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet...
