Note that I'm asking the anti-Islamists...naturally those who hate Islam.

Mohammad left too many doors open to terrorist acts of senseless violence. An all knowing prophet should have seen this coming and specifically mentioned some rules against it. This is an oversight that has killed many innocent people. He also should have done a better job at picking a successor, so the Shiite/Sunni violence wouldn't have done so much damage. These are legitimate criticisms of a great prophet.

I think all religions are crook. Most Christians still believe the world is 6000 years old, how stupid.

People who hate islam don't have any understanding, ultimately the religions just been hijacked by opportunist groups after power. Note how one minute Osama BL is calling for death to all Shi'as and a few months later is asking Shi'as to stand up against the US in Iraq. Some people will say whatever they have to for more power... just like Jesus and Mohammed did and all their successors ever since. Lets face it for Jesus, it beat making furnitue.

The same thing has happened to all religions in history, the reason the Pope moved to the vatican (which is a huge fort) was because his armies were weak against rivals and his power was threatened.

At the moment however, Islam is in a lot of conflict, with Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and within itself; the two main strands (Sunni & Shi'a), as well as the third smaller strand (Sufism) of Islam. Basically any religion it borders. This is also however to do with political roots, Hindus, Christians and Sikhs for example; also bomb and kill eachother in India. And many political leaders in the Islamic world have strong religious links, whereas Western leaders tend not to.

The only time Islam is in the news is when something bad happens, for most uneducated people a news report of a suicide bomb is the only thing they hear on the religion. Islam is in bad need of good PR, but it is a very decentralised religion meaning no central representatives can come forward to represent everyone.

My advice: Just because you've been told something all your life doesn't mean it's true, exercise critical judgement. Imagine being told at 18 that you're adopted, a shock right?...Imagine the same happened with religion, then you'de think, "Oh sh*t, maybe its not real after all." If you're a Christian and think the Qur'an is a load of sh*t be careful, the first half of it is the same as the Bible (except the bible has been rewritten a few times by different Popes).

Because they hate us. I would not have a problem with Islam if they were not hell-bent on our destruction. Yes, I know that not all Muslims are terrorists or extremists, but I am still anti-Islamic. The Islamic world is vehimately anti-American as we could see in its reaction to the 911 attacks (cheers). I think that Islam is an great evil.

I am an infidel. Christian.
I am threatened with death by the word of islam.
I am an American threatened with death by (seaming daily) announcements from the islamic TV.
I am still aware of the muslims that killed 3000 on 9/11 and have never seen the outcry of muslims to end the insanity of Islam.
I see the insanity of fools to reject freedom and the international help and assistance to rebuild their economic stability.
I see the genocide world wide of the islamic muslims.
I hate the abomination displayed by the satanistic islam.

Well, I'm not anti-Islam, but I would like o point out that there is prejudice and hatred to just about every social, religious, cultural and racial group in the world.

I am anti-religion though and the reason why is because religion is destroying our world. (Obvious answer)

I'm not anti-Islam, or anti anything that isn't what I believe in, or agree with.
I think people hate what they do not understand, or is against their "normal" way of thinking.
It's easier to just hate something rather than try and understand something new to them.

they hate because of ignorance and fear. fear of the unknown. islam is a foreign religion and scares sheltered americans. what people here need to learn is that islam does NOT equal terrorism. islam is a peaceful respectful religion based upon values and morals. just as there are radicals in christianity, there are radicals in islam. ignorance is what makes people hate islam.

I don't hate Islam, just the people who think suicide bombing, honor killing, and raping improperly dressed women is ok... Happens to be that several Muslim Clerics are of this mindset...

I don't care about your religion. I am anti-Arabic governments because they are intolerant, hypocritical, fund terrorism, are frequently at war with non-believers in their own, and other nations.

I dislike how they cry about Israeli oppression of Arabs...but do nothing to help the refugees...accept no compromise....all the while claiming to be peaceful....

I dislike how you condemn intolerance towards your religion...but are intolerant of others.

It is up to Islam to stop its radical leadership, Governments, and fundamentalists from making you look bad.

If you can't stop your radicals....don't cry when we do.
