It has traditionally been perceived by girls that in the beggining boys are supposed to be the experienced ones.

Is this still / was it ever true?

girls are pressured way more than guys

I think the pressure still is and always will be more on the guys as far as losing their virginity. This is because all the "guys" make a big deal out of it. On the other hand, there is a lot of pressure on the girls to keep their virginity, both from their parents and their peers, this being because a girl who is known to have lost her virginity is usually viewed by peers as "easy" or a "tramp". It has always been true that women are supposed to save themselves until they are married but at the same time men are always expected to be experianced. The big question is, how do the guys become experianced if all the girls are saving themselves for marriage?

I think there is more pressure on the boys. But then there is a lot of pressure on younger girls. I know this is not what you asked but it is quite sick and how young people are loosing their virginity these days. I know of people who have at 12 years old. Its discusting.

That's a generalization...some girls want their first partner to be experienced, some don't. I think as far as virginity pressure goes, though, boys have a more difficult time. They start to think something is wrong with them if they haven't had sex by a certain age.

I don't know, I really don't.
I mean, I'm a girl and have felt pressured to have sex but at the same time, wouldn't be bothered by either an experienced or virgin partner. A virgin partner would be sort of sweet in a voyage of discovery for both way (:P) but an experienced one would know what to do, if you know what I mean.
Either way, guys tend to lose it later.

i think the way people see girls and boys in terms of experience (ie calling them slags/fridgid/etc) is changing and people are more accepting. i know only a few years ago, everyone i knew, girls and boys felt they had to get laid, and ther was pressure on them to sleep with people, then the guys got patted on the back while everone slagged off the girls. now, in my expereince, its easire for people to admit that they would rather wait without being ridiculed, and i rarely hear people being called sluts.
now i think people dont mind as much about whos more experienced.

Not for me! I don't expect him to be experienced. But I say the pressure is equally matched for both guys and girls.

GUYS-feel as if they have to prove them self a man... The truth is they could've waited.

GIRLS-feel that if they don't their bf won't like them anymore or they won't be in the in crowd.

It is the way of life and I would suggest not to follow that path until you are married.

Hope I helped.

Not in my experience, I find that girls are much more advanced but they lead boys to believe that it is the other way around.

Its called manipulation & girls have been doing it since Eve

I love being manipulated so keep doing it.

It makes my winky go hard.

Actually the pressure is on both part. It also depends on the cultural background of individual. What matter most is to save it for your husband and wives as their gifts. Dont you think its fair. They will never ask if your experienced or not. What matter is If you LOVE the person.

Boys by far. If a boy is a virgin u think he is a loser, not the same with a girl.
