How much is your budget? If she's a real girly-girl I bet she would LOVE going to a real spa for a manicure or pedicure! It's not just the painting of the nails, it's the whole grown up spa experience that I bet would just THRILL her :) In future years she'll forget what book or CD or game or whatever other people got her, her first (well I assume at 11 it would be her first!) spa visit.. never :)

Cd's, primarily girl bands/singers.
Stuffed animals
Little girls like stuff that they can show off to their friends or brag about, and is entertaining or pretty. Hope I was some help!

take her shopping. let her know how much she can spend. that is a triple present. 1. doing something together 2. allowing her the responsibility to decide what's best for her. 3. the present it self.
I did this with my kids on and off through out the years. they loved it and i enjoyed the time we spent together.

My daughter loved getting makeup. They have these mini lip glosses and eyeshadows.Girls are never too young to just play around with this stuff.They also have a nice bath sets at Bath & Body works for girls.

Does she like to write? I think a journal would be a good idea for a girl that age. One with a lock so her privacy will be respected. Girls at that age are into that kind of thing.
