I always see the guy I have a crush on when I am looking my worst. I only see him at the gym and by that point I have no makeup on. He just stares and never says anything. He spoke to me once asking me a question about when a class started. The answer was right in front of us. For some reason unknown to me I am really shy around him. Could he think that my shyness actually means I'm not interested?

usually its the way people look at each other, not the way they look.
don't get me wrong, looking good is what the guy is interested in and
not the way everyone else looks.

That seems to happen to the best of us, it doesn't matter what we are doing, but it never fails,...we leave the house without makeup on, or our hair combed to the nines and boom....there they are, staring us in the face, seeing all those "purdy" blemishes and marks, that we usually try to hide...lol
Its possible that he thinks your not interested in him because of becoming shy with him. But maybe you need give him the chance to see you dressed differently, then approach him. That way he's seen both sides, the dressed/makeup/hair combed side, and the "I'm working out right now" side...he's already saw.
Or do like I do....whenever I'm running a quick errand and run into someone that I have found attractive, the first words out of their mouth half the time is.."Whatcha up too?", I answer with.."Running around lookin' like a bum, aint I purdy?"...lol Make a joke out of your appearance, they'll laugh, and it will relieve some pressure off of you.
You know, if he's got a lick of sense about him, he should know that by you working out, your not going to look like you've been entered into a beauty pageant. And if he thinks you should, then he's not worth the effort.....
But quite worrying about what you look like when you see him and your working out in the gym, smile, make eye contact and keep working out, and don't shy away because of what you feel you look like.

I am shy too! My friend even said that I get all quiet around my crush. And if this guy likes u for u then he will not worry about the fact that u look awful. I am probably going to see my crush 2nite. And I am not thst good at starting a good conversation with him. So hope I helped!!

I have heard that most guys prefer to look at women with no make up on. Then they see the real you, so don't worry about that. As for being shy, yo umay be right. Go talk to him.

no hes staring at you in the gym cause he thinks your hot women in the gym are hot even without make up. theres just something about it its sexy unless your like 200lbs or more wearing spandex gross. he knows your shy which he is to. cause if he stares hes intrested but he wants you to make the first move thats why he dosent talk and it seems he tried when he asked you about the class. but he seemed to fail sry goood luck just talk to him about anything (the gym)

I t think you should make some kind of move. He's made his. Now it's your turn. Talk to him. Start an innocent conversation and if things don't pick up from there no harm or foul.

i really dont know about shyness because i am NOT shy but i think he digs you.. so talk to him.. even if you trip over your words.. ask his opinion.. or say "hey i have this problem...... can you give me any suggestions"
