'm 28 yrs old, I work for my father and I am treated like an 18 yr old. I have a younger brother who is addicted to drugs and my family refuses to believe it. He threatens my life and has stolen from the family and is very violent. I am the outcast because I refuse to be treated this way. I dont know what do to.

Quit your job and go work somewhere else. And distance yourself from your severely dysfunctional family. Find postive supportive friends and start living a positive enjoyable life. Only you can change your situation because they are not going to change for you.

Andrea! Settle down! It does happen that the youngest one, gets a pass. It's not right? But it does happen. Feel honored that your Father lets you work with him. Where he can pay you decent? And not let Guys, try their way with you. He Loves You? Just let him handle the responsiblity of raising your Brother. Things have a way fo working out. But you need to show some Love to the Both of `em. After all, you are an Adult, you kow!

Find a new job and get the hell out of under there roof. Don't talk to them for a couple months and let them find out the truth when your brother does something stupid. If all else fails turn your bro into the cops when he has his **** so he don't hurt you or someone else. In the long run he will probably never talk to you again but he should thank you for saving his life. Drugs are for loosers.

Getting out of the situation will allow you to be away from your
brother & his mean treatment of you. When you are away from
the parents they will have no choice except to face the truth. You
need to be on your own any way. You can't possibly advance in
a situation like that. Give your self a new life...on your own.

from experience i have not had the best life but now everthing is goiing great for me now. You have to strike out on your own and show your family that you can do it on your own and no ezxtra help is needed, your father does not treat you like an adult yet b/c he does not see you as an adult yet. prove it to them that you can stand on your own. I guarntee you it will be tough, but the outcome is independance, and respect...anr
