Well, before 3/4 months he fell from not well fixed bar while working out on both of his knees. I don't know if it can be related to this but also it happend on both knees! Now only one is hurting him. I also read that for dislocated knee, one of the symptoms is getting swallen - which didn't happen in his case. I'm waiting to see, as he is resting now, how he will feel later. He just fell now due to the lost of strenght in that leg with knee that felt strange from one yesterday when he got up on it a bit differently then normal. That's all for happening that i can remeber.

It could be torn or damaged ligaments or cartilage. Without knowing more info, and having no way to examine it, no one here can give you anything near an accurate diagnosis. I recommend going to the emergency room. They will take you without an appointment, and must treat you regardless of your ability to pay. If money is a problem, most hospitals will work something out with you.

Seventeen years ago I jumped down from a 2-3 foot height. When I landed, my left knee hurt a lot and I could no longer put any weight on it. After ten minutes or so, it seemed OK. However, I have problems regularly, especially in really cold weather. Both of my knees are going bad and may need surgery. Mt right is having trouble because I have compensated for the left. I seriously advise going to the doctor ASAP to get checked out before it becomes more serious.

It could be a strain. Have you tried icing it? Sounds like he should def call the doc to at least get it checked out - and stay off of it for now.
