how can you be sure you reach God's best for your life?

We all make mistakes so I suppose no one ever does.

Just take time to meditate and pray as often as you can, and be open to opprotunities so that you dont pass them unaware.

It makes me sad when I look back at opprotunity missed. I wonder how many opprotunities I never even noticed.
