Honda accord, the toyota camry, or the subaru legacy>

which would you get and why?

Get the Camry for trouble-free performance, long life and general all-around quality. The Accord is also a good car; the Legacy is supposed to be fun to drive, but I hear a number of them have been lemons - guess they need to step up their quality control.
I'd get the Toyota Avalon if I were buying a new car - it's a luxury car at a family sedan price and is a wonderful highway cruiser. But then, I drive lots of highway miles with passengers - just returned from a 3000 mile driving trip.
(Ya think we can win the Big 12 next year?)

A honda accord is a better, because according to Consumer Reports for last 12 years it has scored well in reliability and had fewest repairs. My family has 3 Honda Accords and they are still running well. The Honda accord is very smooth when you drive and the driving is solid on the highway. So you don't feel like you are floating off the road like I felt when I test drove the camry. I tried test driving the subaru legacy and the engine doesn't feel as strong as the Accord's. The accord's V6 and EX trimline engines feel strong when I accelerate. I hope this helps you in your decision. Good luck.

The Honda or Toyota...I had a subaru legacy...IT SUCKED SO BAD. I had a multitude of problems with it. It only had 107,000 miles before it completely fell apart. I have a Honda accord and it has almost 200,000 miles on it and it's still going strong. No major problems either. I know several people that absolutely love their Toyota camry's too. Just stay away from Subaru!

I would get the Accord. The Honda Accord has made Car and Drivers 10 best list for something like 21 of the past 25 years. You can't argue with that kind of record.

That would entirely depend on your personal preferences. Toyota makes great cars, but if you are passionate about driving, you probably won't like them as they focus on ride quality over performance. Honda also makes great cars that are almost perfectly executed but are sometimes a little too sterile. My personal choice of those three would be the Legacy, especially if you get the GT. Subaru's are very fun to drive, but don't have the refinement of the other two. So, what is your priority? Fun to drive, ride quality, or engineering perfection?

Depending on what you are MOST interested in.
Toyota has a tendency to pay more attention to DETAILS than the other two. If you are looking at Resale value, Honda and Toyota are pretty close but Toyota will retain more value.
Performance is another issue! "IF" this is your goal, do you have plans to modify it? If this is the case, check into the AFTER-MARKET parts. You can spend a lot of money and only increase the performance slightly.
Go to the library and check out the Consumer's Reports Guide.
They have tested and compared cars for years and their results are very interesting.
Bottom line... Which do you like? Color options and accessories are another thing to consider.

do your research first go online check out the value of all cars check resale value you can go to www.nada.com and research value whats its worth, loan value etc. i would not buy any til i check them out first.
