That was Jesus, huh? My goodness. I'd say there are at least 5 personality disorders wrapped up in that paragraph. And the gore - "Redeemed you with my blood." This Jesus person should have a bit more regard for the children who might read this stuff.
He also sounds terribly insecure - quite common in itinerant preachers.
