Go for it, the age difference isn't that much that anyone should give you crap about it. After all it is only 2 years.

At your age, you still don't know what maturity is; no offense.

Maturity is exponential in its growth; i.e. people are much more mature at 26 than 22 and much much more mature at 30 than 26.

Every new year brings a huge growth in what we experience and what we learn.

Now as far as dating a younger man, at your age you are probably closer in maturity then you think. Now if you were say, 25 and he was 18, that would be a HUGE difference. So I say go for it. Never pass up an opportunity.

Additionally, if the only reason you are hesitant is because you are going to hear crap about it all the time, grow some thicker skin.

Best of luck.

No, age does not matter at all. If he is only two years younger then what is the big deal? I have always dated guys that are younger than me. The man that I am now married to is 2 years younger than me. It really doesn't matter what anyone says so go for it.

i think that the only time that age would count is if you were like 10 -20 years apart. my parents are 10 yrs apart. but anyways, if you love him then don't give a crap about what other people sya about you guys. you guys could be the perfect couple. you could end up not knowing what it would have been like together becuase other peoples opinions brought you down.

Age doesn't matter to me. I'm dating someone who's 7 years older. I've never been happier; I love her. We're soul mates. Now you're a lot younger then we are, but it's only 2 years difference. You're only dating; go for it!

I think men never really grow up at heart -- whatever makes YOU happy is what counts. But yeah... you'll probably get crap about it (if people know) but surely you can handle that!\
Two years is nothing.
