1. Go to Display Properties -> Desktop -> Customize Desktop -> Web.
Make sure no items are checked
2. Go to the Control Panel
Go to System
Go to the Advanced tab
Go to Performance/Setting
Add check to "Use drop shadow for icon labels on the desktop.
3. Display properties -> Appearance -> Effects -> show shadow under menu.
