See a dermatologist. Over the counter stuff didn't work for me either when I was a teenager.

You've got to have balance overall - drinking water does work, but it's more a continuous ongoing thing. Cut down on sugar and eat healthy, if your family doesn't eat healthy, you're at an age where you can prepare your own meals & maybe get them onto a healthier path. - As for your skin, stop using harsh products, you might do more damage than good for it. Try using a cream sensitive face wash, like Phisoderm (my teen bro has bad skin and it's been working for him) and mix some baking soda in your hand when you use it, then wash your face and pat dry. Use sunscreen too. But overall, stress creates break-outs. Well, try that and hope it works for you!

Try these remedies for smooth skin.Drink plenty of water - more than 8 glasses per day, so that your skin remains hydrated.Twice a week, add a few drops of baby oil to your bath water. Soak almonds in water and make a paste with it. Rub it on the rough skin and keep the paste for 20 minutes. Then rinse the skin with warm water. There are many remedies for a smooth skin in the link below.

Any dermatologist will tell you that your diet has nothing to do with your acne. That is something that my grandma says!! Proactiv really does work and it is not harsh at all. My advice is to buy it off of eBay instead directly from Proactiv because they charge too much and send you product more aften than needed. Go to eBay and buy a trial set of Proactiv to see if you like it. Good Luck!!
