any were from 300-1,000 bucks. depends on what you want him to do. they can pretty much host your whole wedding or they can just play music.
its always kind of nice for them to be able to go up and tell the guests that its time for the father daughter dance or its time to throw the bouquet. unless you have an announcer for this already the DJ can definitely do this.

Well that will all depend on your area. I DJ here in Illinois and the going rate for a wedding reception here runs around $400. It can be upwards of near $1000 in some areas. All depends on when it is and how many DJ's there are in the local market and how competitive they are.

My wedding is in May and we've booked one of the top DJs in Memphis, TN for $700. That includes him having to drive 2 hours to the reception site!

Depends on how good he/she is or how high in demand he/she is. My ex's mom was a dj and she charged anywhere from $250-500 for 4-5 hours. Plan on spending no less than $300 though...
Congrats on the wedding! May God bless the union and may you guys have love and happiness til death do you part... :)

Probably around $1000-$1500 depending on the DJ and if you want to use him for the ceremony also. My DJ was a friend of mine and charged me about $750 for ceremony and reception.

Im sure where you are is will cost you a littlemore than this but I am paying 550 for mine and I get him for up to 8 hours.
You can do an interent search to see if you can find dj websites near you...some of them will have pricing on them

Mine cost $1000 and that was all inclusive - he stayed till the wedding was over. I think it was about 6-8 hour reception

It really depends on where you live in the country. I am paying about 800 bucks for 4 hours for our DJ. (in California)

They really range anywhere from 200-1,000 (for 4 hours) depending on the person and the business. If you can find a friend of a friend... that has the equipment, that's the way to go... pay them cash under the table.
