She is saying topically applied.....these are temp tattoos.

Put some baby oil (or even vegetable oil, olive oil, etc. on it for awhile to soften it and then remove it with rubbing alcohol.

You might have to do this a few times. Don't overwork it and irritate the skin.

Not to follow up a question with a question, but do you mean real tattoos or fake ones? I'll answer your question either way. Alcohol is widely used throughout the anti-bacteria industry to kill bacteria because with a high enough dosage it dries up anything it touches. If you've ever put rubbing alcohol on your hands there's no quicker way to kill your skin's moisture. Alcohol will dry out the skin where you have had either real or fake tattoos. It won't remove a real tattoo but it will certainly fade the coloring and it will most likely remove a fake tattoo, but so will warm soapy water without the dry skin.

Hope this helps.

Tattoos are ink imbedded in the skin. There's no way to remove them with alcohol (unless you're talking about press-on tattoos for children, then rubbing alcohol will work). You can't rub off a tattoo any more than you can rub off the pigment of your skin (say if you're black and you try to make yourself white by rubbing alcohol on your skin). It's the same thing. If you want to have a tattoo removed, you have to go to a professional, who can remove it with lasers. I believe this can lead to scarring, but you might want to read up on it to be sure.

I hope not, that might be dangerous. Look into the very painful and expensive laser treatment method.
