My first date ever? Geez, that was long ago (I was 16 then and I'm 42 now). If I recall we went to dinner (I couldn't begin to tell you where or what type of food) and then to a drive-in movie...he tried to make out and cop a feel under my shirt, and I didn't take it well.
We only dated a month or so I think.

You can go to the cinema, go for a walk or go & have a cup of coffee or tea somewhere & have a chat.
Be yourself & dont take or try to take advantage. & be nice to each other.
A kiss on the cheek at the end of the date would normally be acceptable.
Good luck & if you enjoy each others company make sure you arrange another date.

My first date with my fiance ... we were hanging out for a few months just going out with friends in a big group but we always ended up together at the end of the night ... I invited him to stay with me and my family up in the mountains for my Grandpa's birthday ... we rented a huge cabin and had about 12 of us hanging out in the snow ... we went out that night together - had dinner - hung out at the bar - drank a lot - went to a new bar and danced for hours .. we made out and kissed all night long .. we walked around the town in the middle of winter - lots of snow and pretty surroundings ... it was so much fun ... we ended up walking all the way back to the cabin - drunk - singing and dancing in the road ... skipping like kids all the way ... it's a night I will never forget ... we had so much fun ... !

On the first date with my husband of 11 yrs now, i took him out for a ride on my motorcycle and we had lunch at a country pub. (The second date was a totally different ride...!! Oops!!)
