If I buy a bag of weed from my local dealer, and instead of smoking it, make a tea out of it (like in the movie "Grandma's Boy") will I get high or just waste my money? What about "special brownies?"

Yes brownies AND tea can get you high. Weed is HEAT ACTIVATED. It also works on Peanut butter sandwiches. So all of the above are not really wasting your money.

hey... happen to glance at your question all the way from India. :) anyways the **** up with weed tea is that weed isn't water soluble. So.... use milk. Milk's got enough fat content for the lipophilic tetrahydrocannibinol to dissolve in. Use the same amonut of weed that u use in a joint or a schliff and boil it in a glass of milk for about 10-15 minutes. The milk should turn a nice khaki brown. Add some sugar and favour if ya have any cos it tends taste literally like ****. Go slow boys or it may burn your throat- ice cubes are a plus. you do get high, but only after a while and its the mellow high of hash. Enjoy!

No, THC (the chemical in marijuana that gets you high) is not soluble in water. Only in fats, such as butter or cheese.

yes but it can take up to an hour for the high to start, so be patient and dont over do it

Well one think for sure, they will get you higher than if you ingested oregano. Ever tried maryhuPASTA? Should be noce too...
