Wallet taken while on vacation, how do I get a drivers licence?

From New York State ?? I will be out of state for 2 more months, who do I contact to get a replacement ???

I would go to the local police department and ask there . They will either refer you to your State vehicle dpt. or perhaps issue a temporary paper so you can drive. ( I hope) ; Always make copies of your wallet info and carry in separate place , just in case it gets lost . Also all your credit cards etc. Both sides should be recorded, front and back .

Go to the DMV and get a replacement DL it is that easy, you will have to prove your Identity ie birth Cert, Passport. Do you have a police report, take that also

you,ll have to call the dmv department ,and make them aware of what has happened and they can issue the drivers license ,no problem there,it can be done in one day,and them mailed to you but tell them to cancel the old license out,no one could use them any way,but you never know what crooks will try and do these days,good luck,i hope this help,s.
