Whenever I hear about god's "love" He sounds so much like a stalker husband.
"I love you honey. I love you so much and I only ask you do this one little thing! If you don't do it, I'm going to have to hurt you. Please don't make me hurt you baby. I love you sooooo much..."

God truly loves me, you, and everyone that has ever lived on this planet. St. John 3:16 tell us this.
Not only is he a loving God; He is a just God. God has given us the power of choice. We can choose to do right or do wrong. We can choose to accept his son Jesus Christ and live by his principles or we can go against Christ and his teachings and live the way we want to live. Throughout the Bible God tells us the consequences of following after Christs teachings and following after what we want to do.
If we truly love God and truly love everyone in this world as we love ourselves, then we will have eternal life. But if we despise God and hate others then we will have eternal death.
God doesn't send people to hell; if we end up there it is a result of our own actions on this earth.

i will help you comprehend with out any shadow of doubt that the eternal hell theory is from guy and not from God. human beings are so dramatic. If there are decrease suffering geographical regions then guy had to cause them to eternal, just to squeeze the main terror out of the belief. the present Christian-oriented theory in hell replaced into promoted by potential of the early Catholic church to get extra converts via scaring the crap out of them. There are hell geographical regions defined in Hindu and Buddhist scriptures yet they do no longer seem to be eternal, in simple terms short-term till the soul has been purified of its evil inclinations and then the soul is launched to attempt as quickly as lower back to progression to greater states. The Muslim hell is notably very like the Christian hell, eternal and extremely final, and that they made it this style for the ideal comparable reason Christians did -- terror~ there's a needed factor relating to scriptures that often looks to get ignored. The translators over the years have consistently further stuff to help the political ideals of whoever subsidized the translations. Who can say with certaintly how a lot has been altered? Christians further the hell theory besides as many different defective techniques to help the boost of their stream. The early Christians have been the main in charge of this. Hell, if is does exist in any kind, is incredibly no longer a actual place yet they tried to make it so. there's a lot of evidence that Jesus initially taught reincarnation, as did the Jewish mystics with which he replaced into linked such through fact the Essenes, however the later translators have been steered to do away with a majority of those references. each and each time a faith promotes concern, this is subverting the fairly reason of God.

You are wrong.
God does not send people to Hell. People choose to seperate themselves from God by remaining in their sins when they refuse His offer of the sacrificial gift of the shed blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. They are usually too proud and feel self-sufficient.
God (who is Light) cannot be in the presence of sin. He must therefore seperate Himself from the unrepentant sinful. Hell is the place of seperation from God, full of darkness and regret.
I also agree with wd that you are projecting your attitude onto God.
We have to choose what path we will take. There are 2 ways to live.

well, suffering in hell, I believe, is eternal separation from God. If you don't want Him in life why should you have Him after. I don't really believe you are tortured or burning in eternal flames, but to be separated from God, especially after you know He is truth, would truly be torture

He loves everyone--but hates our sin. There's a difference. We have to choose what path we will take. There is certainly consequences for our actions--not only here on earth--but for eternity. God never said He would hate you---but if the Christian has been wrong all along--what have they lost? Nothing. If the non-Christian is wrong--they have lost their soul to hell for all eternity--and trust me it ain't no party.

hon, you got it backwards - God says I love you so much, I gave my Son's life for yours, so Worship me and LIVE. It is you and others like you who say GO TO HELL (G-d) AND (I would rather) SUFFER FOR ALL ETERNITY I HATE YOU. So stop projecting on to God what it is that you are really saying to Him.

It's obviously a made up scam to control the masses, it's such an obviously human thing, no superior entity would be thick enough to say something so ridiculous.
