There are 3 Marriott's in Bethesda
Marriott on Pooks Hill Rd - its 20 miles from Dulles and approx 50.00 one way for a cab

Marriott Suites - on Democracy about 20 miles from Dulles - again about 50.00 one way

Marriott North - on Marinelli - again 50.00

There is also Super Shuttle - probably be about 1/2 the cost of a cab 800-Blue-Van

Unless you arrive at Dulles between 11 PM and 5 AM, you can get there for less than $10 if you take Metrobus 5-A from Dulles to Rosslyn Station and then hop on Metro's Orange or Blue line to Metrocenter where you take the Red Line towards Shady Grove.

There is the Bethesda Hyatt which is directly above the Bethesda station.

The Marriott Suites is accessible via the J-2 bus from the Bethesda Metro Station.

The Marriott on Pooks Hill Rd. is halfway between Medical Center and Grosvenor stations. The hotel has shuttle vans to either station.

Finally, the Marriott on Martinelli Dr. is directly across the street from the White Flint station.

Why pay $50 to sit in traffic where $10 will get you there in nearly the same time.

Oscar: the previous answers are right, and I'm glad that you're impressed with Yahoo Answers. A cab will be about $50. The Washington Flyer has a monopoly on cabs leaving Dulles, but their rates are regulated. If you can find someone to share the cab, the price becomes much more reasonable.

Dulles Airport to Bethesda is around $55 for a taxicab. The SuperShuttle is slower by far and costs around $32 for the first person and $8 for second person.

You will have to specify which Marriott in Bethesda you want to be taken to.

If you take the supershuttle minibus, it is $12 for the first passenger, then $8 each for the rest of your party. An individual taxi will cost $50 - 60.
