they cost about £25 to buy from a dealership...Normally you can programme them yourself.

My partner has a Vectra and i've a focus....His is so much easier to programme than mine...
something like
Put your key in the ignition and press the key fob.
The code will go from the old key fob to the new one.

I wish mine was that easy to programme.

You MAY find it in a junk yard "BUT" key fobs send different signals and randomly finding one in a junk yard is rare.
Yes! You really need to go to a Dealership. Depending on the Type of fob, it can range from $30.00 towards $100.00.

yes you do. each keyfob is unique to each car. what they will do is get your chassis or vin number and put it through the computer and it will bring up your fob number where they programme a new one but this can be expensive and it can take up to a week for a new one. you need to contact your local dealer for a price as sometimes it can vary.

Dealer job. You need the car's security code/PIN. It comes on a wallet size card with the radio code as well, OR the supplying dealer "should" have it

call a locksmith and get prices and compare them to dealer the locksmith will give u a better price and they will do it in less than an hour not like the dealer will b on it all 5 hours
