I big time recomend Proactive no matter what people say you have to take a chance and find out if it's going to work for you or not. I took a chance and my god I was very happy with the results it gives you celebrity skin and I was one of those people who tried everything in the stores and everything on t.v. so when I saw the advertisements for Proactive I was like yeah write thats not going to work nothing else has, but I finally gave it a chance and decided if that didn't work I would never again try but guesswhat it worked. I was so happy it's not harsh and it works on any type of acne from huge gross white heads to little bitty bumps to big bumps that won't pop and really hurt so just give it a chance

Try L'Bri Pure n' Natural's Combination Skincare Trio and also the Facial Masque, you will notice huge results. Check the ingredients on the Neutrogena Face Wash and you'll notice that there is oil in it as well as lots of drying alcohol and chemicals, which clog pores and cause breakouts. The L'Bri products contain aloe and lots of vitamins, minerals, herbs and botanicals and will penetrate into your skin (because there are no synthetic oils or fillers) and clean the pores out, clearing the acne. Give it a try, it's amazing and 100% money back guaranteed! You can read more at suenelson.lbri.com.

If you use a phone, cell phone, or rest your head in your hands alot this is probably the culprit of your breakouts. Using rubbing alcohol to wipe off the phone or cell phone face will help. Could also be where your hair hits your face or the products in your hair that are causing the breakouts. Try using a spot treatment directly on the acne since it seems to be isolated, all over may cause drying. Store brands for the most part have the same active ingredients and will work just as well.

I sometimes tend to get breakouts in the same area. I use Clean and Clears Oil Fighting Cleanser and astringent. If you are happy with Neutrogena, I would stick with it, try an astringent though, it works best for me before I go to bed. The astringent gets off any excess dirt or makeup left behind from after I've washed my face, plus it's medicated so will help with the breakouts. For a more powerful remedy, try a acne spot treatment, I know Clearasil makes one and it's a cream or gel you apply and it has benzoyl peroxide in it which helps get rid of the acne.
I also have noticed that the breakouts I get close to my hair line is caused by me touching my face or my hair being in my face for a long time. If you notice this, try to not touch your face in that area as much and maybe put your hair behind you ears so any extra oils don't transfer to your skin.

I have had bad skin all of my life and even at age 26 still struggle with breakouts. There are a lot of myths out there about greasy food, etc. One thing that DOES help though is to make sure that you're drinking plenty of water. It helps your body cleanse and heal. Also make sure you get plenty of sleep, don't mess with them, and don't use ANY products that contain mineral oil. Using mineral oil is like putting saran wrap on your skin. It traps all dirt and oil in your pores - it is the second most aging thing to your skin as well, next to the sun. Try Arbonne's Advantage line - www.Arbonne.com. It's a little more expensive, but one set often lasts at least 2 months, so it's worth the extra dough - especially 'cuz it works!

Me too!! what I use is Neutrogena wash and makeup remover wash. It comes in the light blue bottle with the pump. I also see a dermatologist and she prescribed me differin. I wash my face 2 times a day and then use the differin on the infected areas before bed. Differin is a prescribed cream so if you can talk to your doctor and talk about this cream or what she thinks will work. If it still doesn't get better i would recommend a dermatologist. Hope that Helps!!!!!

First I use clinique acne solutions foaming face wash to wash my face and then I pat dry with a toweltwice a day . Then I use #3 clinique clarifying toner (the large pink bottle) and swipe it on with a cotton pad (twice a day). Finally, I use the clinique dramatically different moisturizer in the gel form because it is designed for oily skin. I moisturize with it twice a day. (not the dramatically different lotion form) So far I have very few breakouts since I started this regimen last year.

If the breakout is recent it could definately be hormonal. Either way, try using a product that has benzoyl peroxide it in. This ingredient will help to dry up the zits and oil production. If you have skin that is oily then it is safe to use it all over. If not, then just in the affected areas.
