i have a friend who was told she could not get a job right now because it will wreck her chances of getting osap when she goes to collage. right now she is going back to school to get the last three courses she needs for collage. we would like to know how this works.

No, but it will affect how much you get. For instance, if you work a lot and make lots of money, then your financial need decreases. Therefore, the amount OSAP gives you will decrease.

If she makes less than $24K per year, she will be OK I believe. (under the poverty line)
