Essentially because they are nocturnal. Although this is something that many cats have lost through evolution as a result of spending several thousand years and countless generations living with humans,it is still prevalent in some cats.I got two cats from a rescue centre about seven years ago,and after one of them died, she was much older, the other one started to wake me up by nudging my head and purring so loudly he sounded like a traction engine!Unfortunately, I had to give him to my mum to look after, because I'm now quite ill and spend a lot of time in hospital. My girlfriend was pleased - she hates cats , (I might have to dump her).
I have to admit that although it annoyed me at the time,I actually miss being woken up in the early hours of the morning by a giant ,animated furball demanding affection!

both my cats are wakeful at like 5/6am interior the morning....If i would like a lengthy lie I close them interior the the front room with the Kitchen door open. That way they could get to the dried foodstuff and clutter tray (it really is interior the decrease back porch) in the journey that they favor to pass. typically we are up about 6am so that they get feb early anyhow one among my acquaintances has cats and that they had a cat flap interior the %door of their previous residing house. So it really is conceivable to get them for %doors. placed the cats biscuits interior the kitchen and get a scratching submit or a wicker basket so the carpets do not get ruined.

Mine does that too, however she has got better at sleeping through the night recently since sleeping on the top of the wardrobe with a blanket. Maybe she was cold before, so it could be that your little kitty is cold in the night and wants to get warm. Hope that helps!!

Cats are nocturnal, so 2 am is HIGH TIME! The same way we tell each other that we are wasting daylight, your cat is telling you that the roaches are running, the mice are jumping, and you are wasting all of that good moonlight. Or something like that.

Because they want to snuggle up with their best owner in the world!!! They must love you to bits and want to show it!!! Psssstt.... If it's that annoying then just close your bedroom door so they can't get in and if ur afraid of the dark (like me sometimes!) then buy a night light. But remember Your cat adores you so you can't get to annoyed!!!

because she is your baby and wants reassurance that you are still alive in there!! I have four, and three of them do this; sleeping pills dont help as they just keep on keeping on until I wake up and cuddle and do tummy rubs, then off they go. Just being catty, I suppose!

because she loves you ...and just wants to be by you.
I have a Blue Russian and in the middle of the night she'll push the door open, I leave it cracked open a little, gets on the bed lifts my cover with her nose and head so that she can sleep right next to me......or she'll climb on my back and sleep there....

Because you are all warm and toasty in your bed and she knows you arent going anywhere at that time. lol Just snuggle up next to you and let her purr away.
There are few things better than a kitty singing you to sleep.
