We all have different faiths, but why can't people respect that we are all different. I have my beliefs and so does every one else, just because they are not the same does not make them wrong. Why do so many people do this?

I hope you're not hurt by anything you read at this website. It has become a place that draws extremes and a place dominated by atheists. Have pity on them. Whatever your faith, keep it strong and don't let them hurt you. God bless.

One of the best points in a while on here. People who are here in the Religion and Sprituality section should be asking questions about things they dont understand. If they are trying to get closer to God or there is something they dont understand. Now I realize this section is not just about Christianity but, most of the questions and bashing is about Christianity. The people who do this either have no life or secretly want a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and are looking for that response that tells them that is it. Those who are bashing my be closer to coming to the Lord than you and I may know. It only takes a few words and the Holy Spirit to change a heart. Amen and Peace out......

Religion is Faith. It is something you believe to be undeniably TRUE!

So if you believe in something so greatly and someone disagrees with you... They must either be an enemy or an Idiot !

If you don't believe in your faith so much that everyone else has to be wrong about theirs Than what is the point in believing?

If you think other people's religion could be the Right way, than you should consider joining their religion

It's about Passion for your beliefs, something that the new age world of P.C. hippies doesn't cherish.

There are ways to ask questions of other faiths respectfully and disrespectfully. One deserves a respectful answer and the other nothing but scorn and derision.

Further, there are those who simply lie about their own religions and deserve nothing more than scorn and derision.

As for your claim that differing beliefs doesn't make them wrong...the simple fact is that no more than one religion can be correct, however, all can be wrong.

Why do people feel the need to post this question on this site 30 times a day? Why do people feel the need to make self-evidently stupid statements like, "Just because they are not the same does not make them wrong." The Christian faith teaches that Jesus is the incarnate Son for God and God incarnate and the only way to salvation is Jesus Christ and anyone not accepting him as savior burns in hell and all other religions and gods are false if not outright demonic. That's a binary proposition. It is either right or it is wrong. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God or he is not. Salvation is through Christ alone, or it isn't. The proposition is true or false. Christians and Moslems cannot both be right. Moslems and Hindus cannot both be right. Think before you post.

I am an ex christian, I like to bash christians because of their holier than thou attitude. In christianity itself they have 'I am a better christian because I dont do this, or I do this' You are right, every person has his own beliefs, his own experience and his own visible or non visible god and some may not have any god. Does that make him a less human being?

If it makes you feel any better, I bash all (organized) religions, all of them. And the problem, love, lies in belief itself: when you believe that Jesus is the only way to be saved and that it is your Christian duty to spread his gospel, that is a problem (This, of course, being one example from one religion. Let's not even mention Jews and their ridiculous exclusionary views of "gentiles" and Muslism with their sacred duty to spread the word of Allah which, according to certain sections of the Koran and the accompanying Hadiths, should be done by the sword if deemed necessary).

In other words, f**k religion (including yours).

Because we're humans. And we all think our club is the best. Doesn't matter if it's religion, diferrent sports teams, political parties, sportbikes vs. cruisers, SUV owners vs. hybrid. It's human nature. Just like it's human nature for us to need something to believe in order to justify doing the right thing. And even that doesn't work- look at our history and the things we did in the name of God - torture, intolerance, wars, murders... it's the animal in us. Thank God for the secular philosophers and scientists who are helping us steer away from that behaviour....

Most of the time only Christians and Muslims do this. Only motivation is by bashing, they think they can undermine other religions and convert them to one of their own. Of course, others will carry away sometime to either defend their own religion or to counter Christians and Muslims.

Why else would they come to the religon section? This whole site, I have found out, is pretty predictable. I know who's going to ask what kinds of questions. And without fail they do. I know who's going to answer questions, in certain ways. And without fail they do. It's kinda funny. I've only been here for about 2 months, and already know how this site is asked, and answered, without fail.

We do not try to change people's faith. We teach the truth from your own bible.
If you see the truth and want to change, that is your decision, not ours.
We just want you to see what the preacher says is not always what it is. We have many converts who were preachers, who saw the truth and left what they had believed.
Lying is wrong......but it can be forgiven.
We have histories of entire congregations, who saw the light.
