I may be romantic but I loved the name "Autumn Raine" or "Autumn Rain"" for a baby girl. I think it is beautiful. "Autumn Rose" would be pretty too. My name is Julie Rose. I've never met another "Julie Rose" before. I think women grow up to enjoy unusual names if they are pretty, (my cousin hates her first and middle names Bernadette Ronalda. I don't think Bernadette is bad, but everyone calls her Bernie.) but I read an article that said girls thrive with unusual names while boys go the opposite and seem to suffer if they have unusual names. Also don't worry about how it sounds with your last name because when she grows up she'll probably change it when she marries.

Regarding the "stripper name" comment: I would prefer an unusual name versus a "plain Jane" name. I'm a teacher and have heard countless Brittanys, Heather, Tiffanys, Christinas etc. but the unusual names are memorable. I've only had one "Lucy" (she was a Lucille which I don't like, but I "love" Lucy ha-ha.) A teacher told me she had a girl name Skye Blue Water, and she was not Native American. I think Skye isn't so bad (Autumn Skye?) but the Blue water is over the top!

Good luck and happy name hunting.

My Suggestions for what they are worth would be Autumn Skye, Autumn Rayne or Autumn Rose. Or maybe a little odd in a sense Autumn Ray or Autumn Amber

I congratulate you on choosing a female name instead of an androgynous one like Taylor or Destin. I like Autumn Annaliese (if your last name is 2 syllables). She could choose to call herself Autumn, Anne, Anna, Annalee. or Leisa. I think it's a good plan to give them options. Naming a person is so tough, since you have no idea what personality the little person will have. You are so blessed. A little girl is so precious. I'll pray your birth experience is medically routine, and she arrives strong and healthy.
