what do i do to get this guy's attention, he works on the same building, and he's window is facing mine, since he's on the other side of the building. i dont even know if he has a girlfriend, married or gay! but he's pretty cute and seems like a nice guy. i came out of a relationship some weeks ago and i'm also afraid to get hurt by a guy again. how can i get his attention?????

First of all, don't flash him or do anything slutty. Yeah that will attract a guy's attention but if you want a guy that won't hurt you, you'll want someone that doesn't like whores. If you both work in offices, then maybe you should call his office sometime, or make up an excuse to go to the other side of the building. If you're shy, bring a friend along on a day where you don't have to work and approach him. Even if he wanted to get your attention too, it won't go anywhere if you both are shy and neither one initializes it. So be the one to strike up a conversation or just wave to him through the window everyday until eventually someone gets the balls to say something.

Try asking him to stop after work for coffee or a drink. Maybe wait for him to leave and just walk up and say ( I noticed you work ( in whatever building) would you like to stop after work? If he is interested he should say yes. Then you can at least find out if hes in a relation or whatever. Also checkout his ring finger.

Bite the bullet, walk over and talk to him. First thing is smile, that's always very warming. Build up that confidence, you are a good person, you can do this.

Wait until you have his attention and then hold up a big sign that says "Hi!". If he says "Hi!" back, you can work on other conversational gambits, like "Nice tie!" and "Happy Monday!"
Then if you "accidently" bump into him in the corridor, say Hi for real.

You need to ask around and see if he's single and
unattached.
Then bake him some cookies, and smile :-) when you
give them to him.
Tell him, " A few Sweets for the Sweet ". :-P
Or
If he looks like he's health conscience, take him an Apple.
Smile, and say, " hi, I have a gift". :-)

You don't. You do what you normally do: dress pretty, look presentable, develop good personalities, etc.. If he is the person that will find you attractive, he and you will have that opportunity.
