If that's the case, then they aren't true Christians! A true, honest Christian admits that he/she has faults and knows that God loves him/her anyway. Life is a work in progress through out and that is what asking for forgiveness, humility, and understanding toward others is all about. They just need a chance to see the light.

I will like to say that you are right and wrong at the same time. As a christian I KNOW that we are NOT perfect and we know that we are seiners, that's why we go to church and look for a relationship with God, to present our lives and hope to change and be better persons. Now! you probably had have a bad experience with a christian (fanatic) and put all the Christians in a character according to what you see from that person. It's like me saying that all women drive bad or that all women are gossipers, that's a stereotype and you (me to) we should not do that with anyone.
I'm sorry if your experience haven't been good with Christians, but I assure you that most of christian aren't like that and we know that we aren't perfect ( I know I'm not). So to answer you question: NO we are not perfect and we screw even worst than non believers cause we know what's best and don't do it. After saying thatt I have to ad tha we ask for forgiveness and look for God for guidance. I hope you see God in a diffident way and understand that he looks for imperfect people so that we can give our life's to him so that he can transform it. God Bless you

I am a christian, and I am far from perfect. The difference is that I have been forgiven for my imperfection by the only PERFECT one to ever live on this earth. We are not supposed to be judgemental, but because we are NOT perfect, sometimes some of us are. I try not to be. Your question is a very good one to wake up some of us christians who tend to criticize, because it can be a stumbling block for others. God bless you!

Here we go again, grouping people with untrue and ignorant statements. FYI, you've got it backwards. A true believer in the Deity of Jesus, as you would call Christians realize humans are NOT perfect, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. And because we are not perfect, we are in need of A Savior, Jesus Christ who by God's Grace died for us and covered our sins with His blood. We know we could never make it to heaven on our own merit, therefore accept the FREE gift of Salvation, Jesus atonement for ours sins. Try not stating things you really don't understand. Read the Bible to educate yourself and ask Jesus to open your heart to TRUTH. God bless you.

Jesus is the only one who is perfect. Everybody on earth - including Christians - are basically scum(no offence). But the difference is, Christians have been forgiven by God. He wants to forgive everybody, no matter what your "religion".

I see my faults. One of those is something that I am quite open about; being Bisexual.
I am glad that you are seeing through the hypocracy, but it shouldn't make you not a Christian just because all us Christians are hypocrits. I would say that everyone is screwed up somehow. That's why we need Jesus-- to have the penaly of sin taken away from us.

I honestly have no idea where you get this propaganda from but if anyone should know they ain't perfect... it would be a christian...they know they fall short of perfection, and don't even come close that's why they follow the truth closely and follow God's word.

I'm a christian and I know I'm not perfect and if someone says that they are there not a true christian. In the bible it says if anyone says they have never sinned they are a liar and the truth is not in them.

I know, it seems some that call themselves Christian hurt their own wounded.... I am a Christian and fully know that I am not perfect and don't expect perfection from anyone else. Only Jesus was perfect. I aspire to be kindhearted like Christ instead.
