There are a lot of sites out there depending what type of freeware your interested in. One site I use a lot is ZDnet.com. Download dispatch is another. Hope this helps you.

freeware isn't always freeware when it's packed with adware or anything like that I just type freeware in my favorite search and go from there but getting that is another story and usually it has a time limit and or all the functions don't work

First get one of the free operating systems. My favorite is UBUNTU. Once you have it installed, you will gain access to over 5,000 free programs.
