Who thinks what is the mark of the beast?

I don't believe at this present time that the VeriChip is the mark of the beast. In Revelation 13: 16-18, the Bible describes that the beast will compel men to take the mark in order to buy or sell; this is how he will deceive many, because if you do not have the mark then you won't be able to buy food, water, clothes, etc.

Could be. The verichip has global positioning capabilities, but it definately won't be what is on the market now. I know a lot of people that aren't Christians that are against the verichip just because of the capabilities it has. They say it is none of the governments business to know where we are. I have to agree with them

You people are weird. For the last 2000 years, things have "sounded pretty close", and the End is Near has been predicted, falsely I might add, since then. When will you people get it? He isnt coming back and the world isnt coming to an end.

A credit report, social security number etc, all sound alike to me. If I remember the Apocalypse mentions that without that mark you could not access benefits, meaning you had to be part of a group or be excluded without benefits, it does say something about the mark being in a visible place so all could see it. There are many kinds of marks. Who knows, but interesting point.

According to the Scriptures, the "mark of the beast" is received on the right hand or forehead. With modern technology, it is very possible that this mark may be directly linked with a computer chip. But regardless if it is or isn't, everyone who is living immediately before the return of Christ will be forced to take this mark in order to buy or sell anything:
"He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666" (Rev. 13:16-18).
But this mark, which will be universally issued around the entire world, MUST NOT be received under any circumstances, even by Christians! Scripture goes on to say:
"A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: 'If ANYONE worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of THE SAINTS who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus' " (Rev. 14:9-12).

the number 666 is the Biblical mention, there have been many theories and the chip is among the top ten. some believe it to be a bar-code or the magnetic strip on the back or drivers licenses.

It may indeed be a chip of some form. However, the receiving of this chip will have a connection to the New World Religion that says, "accept, or be beheaded."
