I am 6' tall, athletic, ligth brown skin, dark brown/almost black hair, deep brown eyes (the ladies love my eyes:)
There has to be some evolutionary reason for 90% of the women I date to be blonde. It's not just me going for the blondes, they are the women I catch looking at me the most and put out mating signals the most. Incidentally I find them to be the most attractive to me as well. What is the evolutionary reason for this?

There have been studies that show there is a positive chemical reaction by people to individuals of the opposite gender who have a different genetic makeup.
They did a study where women were required to see what they though of men's sweaty shirts, and women were repelled by members of their own race and couldn't smell odor from members of other races. They consider this to be a very deep response to keeping diversity in the human species which allows for better chances of adaptation and survival.

Because as far as I've found, people usually go for people who either have physical traits that are similar to their own, or complete opposites.
For example, I've got blonde hair and green eyes, and I tend to be more attracted to spanish women.
That's usually the way it is when you see couples walking down the street. They either look related by blood, or total opposites.
