Drinking too many fizzy drinks isn't very healthy but it will NOT cause a urinary infection. Water infections are caused by bacteria, they do not come from your diet. The most usual cause of infection for a woman is wiping her bottom from back to front, instead of front to back (thus taking the natural germs of the bowel away from the entrances to the bladder and vagina)

Generally, water infections are caused by bacteria, not fizzy drinks. The main culprit is E.coli which ends up in the urinary tract as a result of wiping from back to front or even sex can transfer these bacteria causing the infection

don`t think it has anything to do with fizzy drinks but not drinking enough fluids at all .. so along the lines of dehydration may be the answer .. well when a urine infection is confirmed you are instantly told to drink LOTS of water to flush it out of your body.

Could be, if you dont drink enough water to flush out your kidneys, toxins can build up causing infection, its basically an inflammitory reaction, loads of water and diluted fruit juice can help.
