My girlfriend gave me an entire day devoted to all the things I like to do and she did them with me. I live in Louisiana so I enjoy fishing and camping. I would say, whatever your boyfriend is into, dedicate one day to being just as into it as he is and he should love it, I know I did.

Buy some massage oils and give him a really good back rub.
You can also write him some heartfelt poetry . I did that for the first Valentine's Day (and the same could be used for b-days) my boyfriend and I spent together. It was quite romantic and he absolutely loved it.
As long as it comes from the heart, he'll love it.

Well u can go to walmart or somethin of that nature and buy a whole lot of rinky dinky things like shaving stuff, socks, favorite t-shirt, somethin he uses daily. And if u can afford it somethin he really wants and put all of those goodies in a cute birthday bag or basket, with a card. And yes cook him his favorite meal and just do whatever he wants for his birthday. Im sure he'll love it because u put alot of time into it. I hope that helped:)

Go to a 99cent store and mix and match the things you had bought as a gift for your boyfriend. Eventhough its cheap, but at least It shows how gratitude you are.

Candle-lit dinner cooked by you and cake baked by you. Much cheaper than eating out.
